Regions Hospital Mental Health Social Worker in St. Paul, Minnesota

Regions Hospital is seeking a Social Worker to join our Behavioral Health department in a full time position. In this position you will work under direct supervision by an LICSW to provide psychosocial and psychiatric assessment, treatment planning and referral, to patients and families at Regions Hospital or RHSC clinics using a full range of social work treatment modalities, provide crisis intervention, counseling, and psychotherapy as appropriate. You will also participate as an integral member of an interdisciplinary health care team, work as part of the health care team to identify and progress a patient centered plan of care and discharge plans and provide education to other health care professionals in the psychosocial aspects of patient care. Work Schedule: Full time, Days. Required Qualifications: MSW - from a program accredited by the (CSWE), the (CASSW), or a similar accreditation body designated by the Minnesota Board of Social Work. 1 year of experience in healthcare or social services Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) or LISW Licensure - MN Board of Social Work Preferred Qualifications: Previous health care or social work experience preferred.
