Hours: 8am-4:30pm, some open and close shifts

The Social Worker provides social work interventions for Bailey Boushay Client and family needs. Some responsibilities include but are not limited to: coordinates discharge plans and/or care plans for in/outpatients, including developing plans for ongoing treatment through services and agencies;

performs a psycho/social assessment for continuity of care planning for in/outpatients; provides short-term adjustment counseling to assist with emotional, social, and economic stresses of illness and disability.

  • Master's of Social Work from an accredited college or university

  • Qualified to receive Registration as an Agency Affiliated Counselor by the State of Washington Department of Health required

  • Strong interpersonal skills; a working knowledge of individual and family dynamics; strong organizational skills, an understanding of systems and how to work within systems; an understanding of the impact and implications of disease and the course of disease; excellent communication skills; the ability to perform psycho/social assessments; and a working knowledge of community resources.

Preferred: Licensed Advanced Social Work (LASW) or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Work (LICSW)
