In the operating room the Registered Nurse may serve as a Scrub nurse, selecting and passing instruments and supplies used for the operation or a Circulating nurse, managing the overall nursing care in the operating room and helping to maintain a safe, comfortable environment.
The Virginia Mason OR residency includes both classroom and clinical components. Upon completion of the OR residency the RN will complete 3 months of orientation and then start taking night and weekend call.
An active WA State RN license prior to starting the Residency
BSN required (or Nurse Tech at Virginia Mason)
Available for on-site/skype interviews Dec 17th, or 18th, 2018
Must be able to start work no later than February 15th, 2019
Able to work day, evening, or night shifts
Able to work every other weekend
Time off will not be granted during the residency period
