Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington is recruiting a BE/BC Gynecologic Oncologist to join our team.

Position highlights

  • Join a multi-specialty team of providers as part of the Department of Surgery and the Cancer Institute

  • Practice the full range of surgical and medical gynecologic oncology care

  • Serve as faculty for rotating University of Washington Ob/Gyn residents and Virginia Mason Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellows (FMIGS). UW faculty appointment encouraged for our Gynecologic Oncologist

  • Participate in ongoing GOG research studies or develop your own research interests

Qualifications:

  • BE/BC GynecologicOncologist

  • Fellowship in GynecologicOncology, with experience in minimally invasive gynecologic oncology, including robotic surgery

  • Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WA

  • Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice

Virginia Mason is a Center of Excellence for Minimally Invasive Gynecology, as designated by the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopist.

Our team is comprised of six general gynecologists and six gynecologic allied health providers. We seek a physician who is an innovator yet collaborative, and an enthusiastic team player with a strong commitment to clinical quality and safety. Advanced Providers, including our PA for Gyn/Onc, and the large multispecialty practice provide a rich source of patient referrals for a rewarding surgical practice. Enjoy easy access to colleagues in all specialties with state of the art lab and diagnostics, including excellent pathology, radiation oncology, and interventional radiology services. Providers administer chemotherapy in the newly renovated oncology infusion center with full time, excellent support staff.
