In this position you will provide specialized support for our pediatric ophthalmologist. Orthoptists can positively impact a practice by increasing the volume of patients that a physician can see per clinic day while improving the quality of care. They may also generate revenue by managing patients under the supervision of the ophthalmologist. (AAO EyeWiki).

Bachelor’s degree and completion and certification from an AOC accredited Orthoptic Program.
Preferred 1-3 years of work experience post Fellowship
This position will be working with children and must be able to engage them in a way that allows for a successful evaluation.
This person must also be adept at engaging families, talking to parents, all while providing care.
This individual must be people oriented with an affinity for working with the challenging pediatric population and their parents/guardians.
