Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director, the Sr IAM Architect will be responsible for performing the necessary leadership, facilitation, planning, analysis and design tasks related to the development of an overall security architecture for Ascension. The Sr IAM Architect will partner and work closely with key strategic business partners, vendors, service providers as well as IT application solution architects to plan and design IAM solutions that support cross-functional business needs and align with longer term best practice standards and viable technology roadmaps. Individual\ within this role will specialize in the IAM security architecture disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Provides advanced architecture and engineering strategy to automate and administer identity and compliance requirements into all enterprise information systems.

  • Drives strategy, planning and execution of identity management roadmaps and technology enhancements.

  • Creates and maintains standards and supporting documentation related to identity processes, procedure and infrastructure.

  • Assesses current applications and architecture to ensure current implementations align with industry guidelines, best practices and management approved standards.

  • Architects plan for implementing management's directives in most secure manners with least disruption.

  • Maintains technical currency and advises leadership in IT Security, IGA/IAM disciplines and relevant regulatory and industry best practices, threats and vulnerabilities.

  • Assists various IT departments with design, implementation and troubleshooting of IAM technologies. Provides guidance and requirements to technology teams on how to secure IT assets by enforcing the digital identity security standards.

The Expertise And Skills You Bring

  • Education: BS or Masters in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent experience.

  • Deep architectural understanding of the workforce IAM space and understanding of the alignments between the various verticals IGA, PAM, Authentication, Directory, Authorization

  • Ability to interview stakeholders, clarify the problem statement, elicit requirements, and transform those requirements into designs to be consumed by engineering teams

  • Relevant experience in the healthcare industry.

  • Strong communication skills, both technical and non-technical, equally comfortable presenting ideas / concepts to senior leadership, implementation teams, and business stakeholders in terms appropriate to the audience.

  • Skilled at creating complex technical architecture diagrams in a clear and organized format appropriate for various audiences from technical to senior leadership.

  • Skilled at taking complex topics and making them simple.

  • Transparent judgment and stands behind their decisions.

  • Flexible and collaborative with peers

  • Work Experience: minimum 7 years of shown technical lead / architectural skills and responsibilities preferred

  • IAM protocols such as SCIM, OAUTH, SAML, OIDC

  • In depth knowledge of SailPoint’s IdentityIQ or IdentityNOW products

  • Experience crafting lifecycle event flows such as Joiner / Mover / Leaver

  • Understanding of and experience implementing SailPoint. Understanding of SailPoint Identity IQ deployment and architecture, experience integrating applications and writing provisioning/aggregation rules, writing sophisticated business processes, API extensions and plugins

  • Experience of integrating sophisticated platforms with Identity IQ

  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Azure as a deployment platform for SailPoint IIQ

  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory

  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISA. SailPoint certifications are a plus.

Requirements

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
