Providence St. Joseph Health Senior IS Supply Chain Service Engineer in Redmond, Washington

Description Senior IS Supply Chain Engineers support the Supply Chain process for caregiver devices and peripherals, including obtaining quotes, submitting requisitions, project procurement, order tracking and follow up. Leverages ServiceNow and Oracle to obtain source of truth information. Serves as the primary point of support to obtain purchase orders and other issues for fulfillment requests. Must deliver timely and accurate information, support and services to all caregivers while maintaining a focus on a positive customer service experience. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent educ/experience. 5 years Related experience; more preferred. Experience in automation, specifically related to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes. Experience with n-tier solutions. Experience with resilience modeling (failure mode analysis) and ability to simulate service outages for point solutions (automated) and platforms (manually). Experience influencing software engineering team members in translating customer and technical requirements into service architecture to meet Quality of Service Expectations. Experience leading and representing the Service in backlog discussions and standups to establish appropriate prioritization of Live Site requirements. Good experience leveraging data and metrics to drive behavior, process, and priority decisions. Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Experience in problem solving using systematic procedures and investigating problems utilizing root cause analysis. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated ability in all procurement functional and system processes, including the ability to use internal tools to evaluate orders, process requisitions, receiving and invoice review. Demonstrated ability to manage procurement and delivery efforts for large, high complexity cross-departmental projects. Advises on caregiver, business, and IS equipment. Uses expertise to obtain quotes from preferred suppliers that meet compliance standards and KPIs, such as quality, cost, and caregiver expectation. Ability to work with vendors to obtain quotes, evaluate orders and invoices. Serve as an escalation point to resolve issues and other information as needed and raise any concerns to management in a timely manner. Accounting/procurement knowledge, including purchasing, internal audit, and inventory control principles where applicable. Ability to work with internal teams to develop business decisions. Uses professional knowledge and independent judgment in making decisions or recommending a course of action. Good interpersonal skills as well as excellent problem-solving skills.
