JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: This is a tenure track position and will involve research, teaching and patient care as expected of a tenured faculty member. University and community service will be expected as appropriate. Responsibilities: This is a tenure track position and will involve research, teaching and patient care as expected of a tenured faculty member. Research time will be devoted to the general field of diabetes, endocrinology and metabolism. Clinical responsibilities will include seeing patients with Endocrine related diseases in the outpatient clinic at UW Health approved locations. An equitable role in the teaching activities of the Endocrinology Division will be expected along with attendance at Division Grand Rounds, fellow conferences, and precepting residents/fellows in clinics and while on the inpatient service. The successful candidate will teach medical students, residents, and fellows. The successful applicant will participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health. An essential part of these duties will be working in a collegial relationship with other faculty members.
