Virginia Mason Medical Center (VMMC) has an opportunity for a .6 – 1.0 FTE employed Internal Medicine physician at our clinic in desirable Lynnwood, Washington. Join an innovative multidisciplinary team whose members appreciate work/life balance, their team and the patients they serve.

Aspects of the Internal Medicine physician role:
Team based approach, complete with a POD structure of 2-3 physicians, 1 ARNP or PA, 1 RN and 1:1 MA support. The ARNP or PA helps support messages and there is indirect care coverage when provider is out of the office.
Primary care at Lynnwood uses an integrative approach with imbedded pharmacists, social workers and psychiatry providers all partnering to provide the best care to patients. We work with patients with complex health needs, such as diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery disease and other chronic health conditions. In primary care, we provide focused, coordinated care for our patients that have resulted in excellent health outcomes.
Flexible schedule options. The clinic is open from 7am-7pm Mon-Tues, 7am-5pm on Friday and 9am-2pm on Saturday with a variety of potential provider schedules. Saturday rotation is 5-6 Saturdays a year and on-call rotation is 3-4 times a year.
Serves a wide range of adult ages, with diverse backgrounds.
Referral options of over 25 medical specialties at the Lynnwood Medical Center, including an ambulatory surgery center with different procedures offered.

Internal medicine or family practice experience (Lynnwood Medical Center primary care serves ages 16+).
Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WA.
Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice.
