Seeking care provider for a very gentle mannered, petite disabled (non-verbal/non-ambulatory) woman in private home in Grand Junction.

Prior experience working with physically and cognitively disabled young adult(s), as well as experience working with individuals with seizure activity. CNA is preferred.

Applicant must be in excellent physical condition, willing and capable of independent transferring and lifting of client <= 90 pounds.

Applicant must be reliable and dependable, possess a valid driver's license, and have a clean driving record.

Job duties include: administering medications, feeding, bathing and other necessary hygiene care, walking, stretching (range of motion), and providing transportation via client vehicle to/from therapy, medical appointments, and as needed. Meal planning and preparation is expected.

Light housekeeping is involved and will include client laundry, dusting, mopping.

Person possessing initiative is preferred; outgoing and active - carrying out activities such as swimming, outdoor walks, and participating in community activities, etc.

Hourly wage will begin at a minimum $19/hr., and is dependent on experience and abilities.

Part-time (24 hr/week) to Full-time (36 - 40 hr/week). permanent employment. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Possible weekend and/or overnight hours may occasionally be available. Work schedule may vary.
