MercyOne, Iowa’s only Thrombectomy Capable Center, is seeking BC/BE Neurohospitalist to join its growing practice. MercyOne offers an above market guaranteed base salary plus production incentives with a $60,000 bonus and 403B match.

Opportunity Details

· Vascular Neurology Fellowship preferred

· 24/7 coverage 26 weeks per year

· Stroke and General Neurology patients

· Dedicated Stroke Coordinator , inpatient APP and Care Coordinators

· Opportunity for inpatient EMG, EEG, lumbar puncture, or other procedures if desired

· Academic

· Active participant in Stroke Net research

· PSLF eligible site

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center traces its roots to 1893 and it is certain the Sisters of Mercy would not believe who we are today. MercyOne Medical Group - Central Iowa is an integrated multispecialty practice with a statewide referral network. The MercyOne Ruan Neurology Department is composed of 11 Neurologists and 5 Advanced Practice Provider’s manage the full spectrum of neurological diseases across all specialties. The Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Center has named MercyOne Ruan Neurology as an MS Center of Excellence. Rounding out the service are 3 Neuropsychologists who provide testing for the entire lifespan. Our comprehensive approach to patient care includes Neurosurgery, IV Neurology, Neuroradiology, PMR, IV Radiology and Pain Medicine. MercyOne Ruan Neurology actively participates in clinical research while serving as Faculty for MercyOne Residents (Family Medicine/Psychiatry/Internal Medicine) and Des Moines University Medical Students.
