Overview

DEPARTMENT: Social Services, Anti-Human Trafficking Program REPORTS TO: Anti-Human Trafficking Manager SUPERVISES: Coalition Interns and Fellows. AHT Community Educator STATUS: Non-Exempt SCHEDULE: Full-time. Must be available evening and weekend hours for training and outreach efforts. FUNCTION: This position will provide leadership and support to The Salvation Army Core Regional Coalition Partner fulfilling all duties outlined in the grant agreement, including those listed below. This position is also responsible for conducting direct outreach to victims of human trafficking, outreach and prevention education to youth and training for professional and community audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field. • At least one year of experience with anti-human trafficking activities, coalitions or victim-serving organizations • Excellent organizational skills • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Experience working effectively in cross-cultural settings • Successfully obtain and maintain driving privileges per The Salvation Army insurance standards, including maintaining access to a personal vehicle and insurance coverage for transportation needs related to this position. Mileage reimbursement will be utilized where appropriate.
