Eaton Corporation SCM Global Manager - Strategic Planning and Functional Excellence in Beachwood, Ohio

Eaton’s Mobility Group is currently seeking a SCM Global Manager - Strategic Planning and Functional Excellence , to join our team. This position can be based at our Southfield, MI, Galesburg, MI, or Beachwood, OH locations. Relocation assistance will be provided to our preferred Southfield, MI site if needed. Up to 25% travel may be required.

The SCM Global Manager will support developing the supply chain strategy for the Mobility Group and driving the execution of the strategic initiatives (Digitization, Corporate Initiatives, Supply Chain Compliance, Supply Risk Management, and Supplier Relationships). The role will also lay the foundation from a process perspective on deployment, training, and development of the functional expertise globally in the areas of category management, financial reporting, supplier performance and relationship management.

In this role you will:

• Benchmark and identify best practice tools and processes, evaluate suitability for use, develop procurement tools and technology roadmap strategy

• Develop, implement, and manage a one Eaton SCM strategic sourcing process

• Establish a cadence for the development, deployment, and execution of SCM’s strategic pillars globally

• Track and measure performance on our key metrics (cost out, inflation, DPO, sourcing council metrics, dual sourcing, resilient spend, localization, supplier risk management, etc) at the global, regional and category levels. Consolidate data for SCM performance and strategy development to evaluate savings performance by category, region and product line

• Lead the Mobility proactive risk management and resiliency processes globally

• Lead the SCM annual profit planning process, consolidating all inputs, and reviewing

• Align and improve SCM across Mobility group (Vehicle, eMobility, Power Connections, and ECJV) to standardize processes, approaches, and optimize our leverage

• Deploy the Mobility Group SCM governance (operating reviews, category strategy reviews, product line reviews, risk management)

• Lead preparation and planning for SCM global supplier events and townhalls

• Run and chair the SPIR (Supplier Price Increase Requests) peer review process at the global level

• Run and chair the bi-weekly sourcing council process for Vehicle Group (VG), Eaton-Cummins JV and liaise with eMobility. Maintain sourcing metrics tracking through bowling chart and follow up on open items.

• Act as Gatekeeper for VG SCM CAPEX and develop the annual profit plan considering all stakeholder inputs

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering or business administration from an accredited institution. MBA or master’s degree in supply chain from an accredited institution preferred

• Professional Supply Chain related certification (e.g. CPM, CPIM) is preferred, but not required

• 10+ years professional experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Operations in the Industrial/ Automotive sector with progressive levels of responsibility and leadership

• 5+ years professional experience with accountability across multiple manufacturing facilities

The expected annual salary range for this role is $136500.03 - $200200.04 a year.
