Shift 1 (United States of America) Position Summary: Tests machines, equipment and their subassemblies following layouts, electrical circuits and other written and verbal specifications. Work You'll Do: Read, interpret assembly layouts, hydraulic circuits, and wiring diagrams. Work with more experienced runoff personnel to learn standard and special runoff tooling used in the area. Perform basic troubleshooting procedures to isolate electrical, hydraulic and machine problems. Recognize part malfunctions and take corrective actions with assistance. Understand and support Company philosophies, goals and directions including ISO9001 and 14001 policies and procedures. Job Report labor correctly and in a timely manner. Produce quality work in a time frame that meets the expectation of the Team/Group Leads. Set the department / area standards in housekeeping, attendance, and teamwork by example. Possess working knowledge of standard hand tools. Team: Employee may be regularly exposed to moving equipment, mechanical parts in motion, risk of shock and other hazards associated with a manufacturing environment such as overhead cranes, welding, machining, painting etc. Basic Qualifications: Minimum of an Associate Degree in Industrial Electricity, Electronic Engineering technology or 1 to 3 years of related field or equivalent vocational/technical training and experience Ability to use multiple programs and software utilities simultaneously Ability to work independently Excellent communication skills Ability to lift 50lbs Demonstrate personal leadership; actively participate in or lead problem solving and continuous improvement efforts. Demonstrate flexibility when confronted with high stress / emergency situations, priority changes, or new assignments. Preferred Qualifications: Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 3 to 5 years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
